Introduction:

At LSKD, our mission is to inspire our community to be 1% better every day. That's why we create high-quality functional sportswear with a street aesthetic to support our community on their journey. We believe the mindset extends beyond fitness—it's about growing personally, professionally, and in every area of life. We are Australian-owned and operated, and while our global HQ proudly calls Logan home, the energy that started it all has grown into a thriving global community united by the pursuit of becoming 1% better.

As a Junior Designer, your purpose is to support the design team in bringing LSKD’s creative vision to life. You will assist in the end-to-end design process, from initial concept to technical handover, ensuring every detail aligns with our brand’s performance and aesthetic standards. You are a curious learner, eager to develop your technical skills while contributing fresh inspiration and creative energy to our community-focused products.

This is a full time role based in our Global HQ here in Loganholme.

Description:

How You'll Make An Impact...

  • Assist senior designers in translating conceptual designs into actionable plans, focusing on materials, functionality and performance features.
  • Create accurate technical drawings & handover files to ensure total alignment across the product team.
  • Apply market research and trend analysis to assist in development of product ranges that resonate with our muse and community.
  • Partner with product development and raw materials to collaborate on fit, fabrics and construction innovation.
  • Help maintain the design roadmap and meet key critical path dates to ensure timely product drops.
  • Contribute to creative ideas for new products and features that solve problems for the LSKD community.
  • Ensure all designs protect the LSKD brand identity while allowing innovation and growth.
  • Ensure all product creation starts with our muse, community and a performance purpose that links back to BWG.
  • Create a culture of curiosity, accountability and joy in creation.
  • Work with Product Development on insights from wear testing to ensure products meet performance expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with Creative Direction, Merchandising + Planning, Raw Materials and Supply Chain and Product Development.
  • Align design direction with seasonal Creative Directions.
  • Storytell product direction and innovation clearly to the wider business so everyone can speak about the product with confidence and integrity.
  • Stay deep into community behaviours, trends, global market shifts and performance needs.
  • Bring fresh inspiration, new ideas and creative energy into the team ongoing.
  • Travel to new markets, trend/innovation tradeshows and suppliers to keep LSKD ahead of the curve.

What You'll Bring To The Role...

  • A qualification in Fashion Design or a related field, or hands-on experience in apparel design.
  • A strong eye for detail, with a passion for performance apparel, streetwear and product innovation.
  • A foundational understanding of garment construction, fabrics, fit and technical drawings.
  • Confidence using design tools and creating accurate technical packs, or a hunger to build these skills.
  • A curious mindset, with an interest in trend research, market insights and understanding what makes our community tick.
  • A collaborative approach and the confidence to share ideas, ask questions and learn from others.
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
  • A growth mindset, taking feedback in your stride and always looking for ways to get 1% better every day.
  • You're a strong relationship builder with a people-first approach
  • You embody the Ideal Team Player by being Hungry, Humble, and Smart
  • You're an everyday athlete - you're as passionate about fitness as we are, in whatever way you love to sweat!
  • Bonus points if you have: experience with performance or activewear, exposure to wear testing and product development, or a portfolio that shows your creativity and passion for product.
