We are currently looking for a Junior Merchandiser who will be integral to driving high-level performance across Lovehoney Group. Partnering directly with the Buying, Ecommerce and Warehousing teams, your focus will be on optimising purchasing processes, maintaining accurate stock levels and strengthening supplier relationships. In this role, you will combine your appreciation for commercial retail and customer trends with your capacity for creative problem-solving and data-driven decision-making. You will develop skills crucial to advancing in a competitive, fast-paced retail sector, all within a company that prizes dedication and results.

What you will do

  • Manage category POs (placing, monitoring and updating) for both weekly and seasonal needs, ensuring accuracy in units, pricing and timely deliveries.
  • Analyse category and stock performance alongside your line manager and Trading team, identifying stock challenges, sales opportunities and actions to optimise availability and minimise overstock.
  • Support weekly trading activity by reviewing sales, stock cover and product performance, identifying opportunities and risks, and communicating key actions to relevant teams.
  • Develop sourcing strategies to improve margins, including supporting negotiations on MOQs, pricing and delivery terms, while fostering and maintaining effective supplier relationships.
  • Work closely with the Trading team to identify available stock for promotions, build promotional stock lists and ensure stock is appropriately allocated to support key campaigns and maximise sales.

    • What you should bring

  • A strong foundation in operational purchasing, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects, processes and day-to-day tasks.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actions. Advanced MS Office skills, particularly in Excel.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented, with a high level of ambition and a genuine passion for procurement, merchandising and supply chain management.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset, with the ability to build strong relationships across Buying, Trading, Ecommerce, Warehousing and supplier teams.
  • Highly organised and commercially minded, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced, results-driven retail environment.
