Junior Network and Application Administrator

Role Description This is a full-time Network Administrator role based in Singapore with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing a mix of on-site and work-from-home days. The Network Administrator will manage, monitor, and optimize network infrastructure across cloud and on-premise environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security for client and internal systems. Daily responsibilities include configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs; performing routine maintenance and upgrades; and implementing network best practices. The role also involves diagnosing and resolving network incidents, collaborating with system administrators and security specialists, maintaining documentation of network topology and procedures, and supporting project teams in deploying new solutions. The Network Administrator will participate in capacity planning, contribute to disaster recovery planning, and provide technical support to internal users and client stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Network Administration, Windows and Microsoft applications and Network Security for managing and securing enterprise and cloud-based network environments.
• Experience of 1-2 years
• Candidates should possess advanced Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose issues, resolve incidents, and assist users and project teams effectively.
• Candidates should possess System Administration experience to work with operating systems, virtual machines, and cloud services that integrate with the network stack.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancers, with experience in tools such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar platforms.
• Experience with cloud networking on AWS, Azure, or GCP, including VPCs, security groups, and hybrid connectivity solutions.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Splunk) and basic scripting or automation skills (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python) is beneficial.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and in a hybrid work environment.
