ABOUT LIONSTRIPE

Lionstripe is a managed Wi-Fi provider based in Lisbon. We design, deploy and support networks for coworking spaces, large scale residential buildings, build-to-rent, coliving and hospitality properties across Portugal and the US.

Great customer service is what sets us apart. Our clients choose us because we follow through, and we treat their residents and tenants like our own. We are a small team, so every person here shapes that experience.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for someone who loves networking and cares about the people on the other end of the connection. Experience matters less to us than attitude. If you are curious, hardworking and take pride in doing things properly, we will help you build the rest.

This is not a desk only job. On a typical week you might answer support tickets in the morning, spend the afternoon on site installing access points, and help plan a new building the next day.

The role is based in our office in central Lisbon (Saldanha), with the possibility of a hybrid role in the future.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Support

• Handle support tickets, mostly by email, from residents, tenants and building managers

• Troubleshoot connectivity, Wi-Fi and performance issues remotely, and go on site when needed

• Write clear, friendly replies in English and Portuguese

• Own each issue until it is resolved and the client is happy

Field work

• Install, configure and replace switches, access points, gateways and firewalls at client properties

Network operations

• Configure VLANs, SSIDs, guest and tenant segmentation, and VPNs

• Monitor network health across our portfolio and flag issues before clients notice them

• Keep documentation current: floor plans, IP schemes, device inventories and configs

ABOUT YOU

• You care about customer service and take ownership of problems

• You have a strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude

• You are passionate about networking and always want to learn more

• You stay calm and friendly under pressure

• You are happy switching between support, field work and projects

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• English and Portuguese, written and spoken

• Authorized to work in Portugal

• A good grasp of TCP/IP, VLANs, switching, routing fundamentals and Wi-Fi basics

• Some hands-on experience: a job, internship, home lab or personal projects all count

• Comfortable working on site: ladders, ceiling spaces, comms rooms

NICE TO HAVE

• A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field

• Experience with Mikrotik, Aruba, Ruckus, Meraki, UniFi, Fortinet or similar

• Knowledge of structured cabling and ITED standards

• A customer-facing background, even outside IT (hospitality, retail, help desk)

WHAT WE OFFER

• Contract: permanent, full-time employment contract plus meal vouchers

• A small team where you will learn fast, get real responsibility early and see the impact of your work

At Lionstripe, we are committed to equal opportunities and non-discrimination. Recruitment and career progression are based on talent alone, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, nationality, disability, religion, sexual orientation or family situation.
