Junior Paraplanner – Remote

Location: Remote but needs to be based in Cape Town

Start Date: ASAP – Immediately available or short-notice candidates preferred

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Paraplanner to join a small growing financial planning and wealth management business.

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual who is keen to develop their career in financial planning and become part of a dynamic, expanding team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical and administrative support to Financial Advisor
• Assist with the preparation of financial plans, investment proposals and client reviews.
• Gather and analyse client financial information.
• Prepare and maintain accurate client documentation and records.
• Liaise with product providers regarding investments, policies and client queries.
• Assist with compliance requirements and ensure documentation is completed accurately.
• Support the financial planning process and ensure a high standard of client service.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Finance or a related field preferable, but not essential
• Previous experience in a paraplanning or financial advisory support role advantageous (1-2 years)
• Good understanding of investment products, financial planning and the wealth management environment.
• Strong analytical, organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote environment.
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle essential.
