We are looking for a highly organised, proactive, and accountable Junior Project Manager to join a fast-paced and growing team.
This is a hands-on project management role for someone who knows how to keep people accountable, manage multiple priorities, drive deadlines, and make sure projects continue moving forward.
You will be the person who helps keep the team organised and ensures that tasks are not simply assigned — they are followed through to completion.
You will work across multiple projects and team members, coordinating priorities, tracking progress, identifying bottlenecks, following up on outstanding work, and escalating issues before they become problems.
This is not a role for someone who simply updates project management software. We need someone who takes ownership of the workflow and actively drives execution.
Team Management & Accountability
- Keep team members accountable for their assigned responsibilities and deadlines.
- Follow up consistently on outstanding tasks and deliverables.
- Ensure team members understand what is expected of them and by when.
- Identify when someone is falling behind and take action early.
- Conduct regular check-ins and provide clear updates to leadership.
- Help create a culture of ownership, urgency, and accountability.
Project & Workflow Management
- Manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously.
- Maintain clear project timelines, priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Ensure projects are progressing according to plan.
- Coordinate tasks between different team members and departments.
- Identify dependencies, bottlenecks, and potential delays.
- Ensure every project has clear next steps and an accountable owner.
- Keep projects moving forward without requiring constant management from leadership.
Daily Operations
- Monitor the team's daily workflow and identify anything that is stuck or overdue.
- Prioritise urgent tasks and ensure important deadlines are met.
- Proactively chase information, approvals, assets, or deliverables needed to keep projects moving.
- Identify gaps in processes and recommend improvements.
- Escalate risks or issues to leadership with a proposed solution where possible.
- Keep project documentation, trackers, and systems accurate and up to date.
Communication
- Act as a central point of coordination between team members and leadership.
- Provide concise and accurate project updates.
- Communicate changes in priorities and deadlines clearly.
- Ensure everyone knows what they are responsible for and what needs to happen next.
- Keep leadership informed of progress, challenges, and potential risks.
The ideal candidate is someone who is extremely organised, naturally proactive, and not afraid to hold people accountable.
You should be someone who:
- Takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do.
- Is comfortable managing multiple projects at the same time.
- Has excellent follow-up skills.
- Notices when something is falling behind and acts on it.
- Is highly organised and detail-oriented.
- Can prioritise competing deadlines.
- Is confident communicating with different personalities and levels of seniority.
- Is comfortable asking, "What's the status?" and making sure things actually get completed.
- Can identify problems before they become major issues.
- Works well in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Is solutions-focused and able to work independently.
- 1–3 years of experience in project management, operations, coordination, administration, or a similar role.
- Experience managing multiple projects, workflows, or team members.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience using project management and collaboration tools.
- Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with the wider team.
- Reliable, responsive, and highly accountable.
- Strong internet connection and a suitable remote-working environment.
- Ability to work 10:00 AM–7:00 PM EST.
Experience working within a digital, marketing, healthcare, technology, agency, or other fast-paced service-based environment will be advantageous.
Experience with tools such as ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, Trello, Slack, HubSpot, or similar platforms is also beneficial.
