Junior Sales Executive

Overview of the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Sales Executive to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their sales career who is eager to develop their skills in business development within the engineering and renewable energy sector.

You will receive training and support while gaining practical experience in lead generation, client communication, sales administration, and business development. Working remotely, you'll collaborate closely with our management, engineering, and marketing teams to help identify new opportunities and build strong relationships with clients.

The Role

• Support day-to-day sales administration and coordination activities.
• Research prospective clients and identify new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain targeted prospect lists using lead generation tools and market research.
• Assist with lead generation and maintaining the company's CRM system.
• Carry out outbound sales activities, including email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and telephone calls to prospective clients.
• Make outbound calls to introduce the company's services, qualify opportunities, and arrange meetings where appropriate.
• Help prepare sales proposals, quotations, presentations, and tender documentation.
• Conduct market and competitor research to support business development activities.
• Communicate with prospective and existing clients by email, phone, and virtual meetings.
• Work closely with engineering and marketing teams to ensure accurate and effective communication of our services.
• Update sales reports and assist with tracking opportunities through the sales pipeline.
• Provide general administrative support to the sales and management teams.
• Continuously develop your understanding of our services, clients, and the renewable energy sector.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 0–1 years' experience in sales, customer service, administration, retail, hospitality, or another customer-facing role. Internships, placement experience, and part-time work are also welcome.
• A third-level qualification in Business, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or a related discipline is desirable but not essential.
• Strong interest in sales, business development, and building relationships with clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail.
• Comfortable learning new systems and software.
• Proficient in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with CRM and lead generation platforms such as Monday CRM, Apollo, or similar systems would be an advantage.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator would be beneficial.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a remote team.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Salary

Base salary of €30,000 - €35,000 per annum plus commission.

Celtic Dynamics Engineering Ltd. is based in Galway City, Co. Galway, Ireland. This role is carried out fully remotely.
