About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Junior SAP AMS Consultant to join our SAP Application Management Services team. In this role, you will support SAP customers with incident resolution, service requests, monitoring, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement activities. In addition to developing your SAP expertise, you will contribute to our AI-first AMS approach by identifying opportunities for automation, AI-assisted support, and improved operational efficiency. The role is suitable for a junior professional who is interested in SAP, enterprise applications, process optimization, automation, and AI-enabled service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide second-level support for assigned SAP processes, modules, or technologies.

· Analyze and resolve incidents and service requests in line with agreed SLAs.

· Perform initial root-cause analysis and escalate complex issues to senior consultants or technical teams.

· Support SAP monitoring activities, including jobs, interfaces, application logs, and recurring errors.

· Assist with testing of SAP changes, patches, transports, and minor enhancements.

· Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

· Collaborate with senior consultants, architects, SDMs, and customer teams.

· Participate in problem management and continuous improvement initiatives.

· Analyze recurring tickets and manual activities to identify opportunities for automation.

· Contribute to the development of AI-assisted solutions for ticket analysis, documentation, monitoring, and knowledge management.

· Support the evaluation and documentation of potential AI and automation use cases.

· Follow established security, compliance, change management, and customer-specific processes.

· Participate in knowledge-sharing activities and continuously develop SAP and technology skills.

AI-First AMS Responsibilities

As part of the AI-first AMS approach, you will be expected to:

· Identify repetitive and manual activities that could be optimized or automated.

· Suggest practical use cases for AI-assisted support and process improvement.

· Support the adoption of approved AI and automation tools.

· Assist with the analysis of tickets, logs, documentation, and operational data.

· Contribute to the creation of reusable knowledge and automation assets.

· Validate AI-generated outputs before they are used in customer-facing or operational activities.

· Ensure that AI-supported activities comply with security, privacy, customer, and change-management requirements.

· AI tools will support the work of the consultant but will not perform autonomous production changes without appropriate human validation, testing, and approval.

Required Qualifications

· Basic knowledge of SAP systems or enterprise applications.

· Interest in SAP AMS, IT support, and business processes.

· Basic understanding of incident, service request, and change management.

· Analytical and structured approach to problem-solving.

· Interest in AI, automation, and digital technologies.

· Willingness to learn and develop SAP expertise.

· Good communication and teamwork skills.

· Ability to work in an international environment.

· Very good English language skills, both written and spoken. German language is a big advantage.

Education

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

What We Offer
