This is a hybrid position with the possibility of some remote work. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity. This developer will contribute to the engineering and implementation of software solutions. Key Responsibilities include: Build and maintain data ingestion and indexing pipelines that process, parse, and store large document corpora for downstream enterprise consumption. Develop and optimize advanced search and retrieval systems, integrating search engines, caching layers, and backend services to deliver high-performance, context-grounded responses. Implement data lineage and traceability mechanisms that link system outputs back to source documents and records, ensuring auditability and transparency. Develop distributed workflow orchestration and asynchronous task processing pipelines using frameworks such as Celery or Temporal, enabling automated task execution and service integration. Build automated testing and quality assurance frameworks for data and backend pipelines, including unit tests, integration tests, and robust schema validation. Support senior technical leads in translating customer requirements into scalable software solutions. Communicate project progress, architectural decisions, and technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a relevant field. Experience with Python programming in a data science, machine learning, or software engineering context Exposure to machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn) and/or LLM libraries (LangChain, Hugging Face). Required Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG concepts. Familiarity with vector databases or document indexing systems. Understanding of software testing principles and experience writing automated tests. Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. Preferred skills: Experience building agentic AI systems or multi-agent frameworks. Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps/MLOps practices. Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated QA tooling. Experience with cloud-based ML services (AWS SageMaker, Bedrock). Background in NLP, information retrieval, or text analytics.
