About the role: What’s in the Box
As Junior Sourcing Manager, you’ll join our international Procurement team. The team brings new ingredients to life for millions of HelloFresh meals across Europe. Whenever our culinary and product teams dream up a new recipe, we find the right suppliers to make it happen.
Based in Paris, you’ll be the bridge between our French suppliers and our procurement and supply chain colleagues. You’ll manage new ingredient requests from the first idea through to supplier onboarding, and work closely with our Category Managers to keep everything aligned with our wider sourcing strategy. It’s a varied role with a strong focus on innovation, where you’ll learn how international sourcing works from start to finish. You’ll also help make sure our customers get exciting, high-quality ingredients at the right cost, every week.
Please note: For junior positions, we are unable to offer visa or work permit sponsorship, either now or in the future. To be considered, you must have the legal right to work in France
What you’ll do: The Recipe
- Manage new ingredient requests from first idea to launch, coordinating between our culinary, product, supply chain and procurement teams.
- Find and assess suppliers for new ingredients, request and compare offers, and support supplier onboarding.
- Work with Food Safety & Quality and culinary teams to fine-tune ingredient specifications, balancing cost, quality and performance.
- Review new ingredient proposals to spot opportunities to use existing products or suppliers from other markets, supporting our Category Managers with cost savings.
- Use data and Generative AI tools to analyse supplier offers, costs and market trends, and turn your findings into clear recommendations.
- Keep local and international stakeholders aligned on project progress, and take on more ownership of projects and supplier relationships as you grow.
What you’ll bring: The Ingredients
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree, for example in business, supply chain, engineering, or food science.
- Experience in procurement, supply chain or a related field. Exposure to the food industry is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers and colleagues across teams, countries and functions.
- A proactive, organised mindset. You take initiative and enjoy learning quickly in a fast-moving environment.
- Excellent English, fluent in French
Above all, we are looking for people who will make HelloFresh better. There are many different ways of developing skills, and we love diverse experiences! So even if you don’t “tick all the boxes” but think you’d thrive in this role, we would really like to learn more about you.
What we offer: The Toppings
Our benefits vary by country. Here is a taste of what you can expect:
- Tasty discounts: generous discounts on HelloFresh and our other brands, plus savings with partner brands.
- Learning & growth: internal training, and mentoring opportunities
- Flexibility: a hybrid working setup
- A warm welcome: an onboarding program and a dedicated manager
- Wellbeing: discounted fitness memberships and access to mental health and mindfulness apps.
- Financial security: a company pension scheme and commuting support, depending on your location.
- Great people: team events, Friday drinks and a lively office culture.
Are you the missing ingredient? If this sounds like a tasty opportunity, we’d be excited to hear from you. We aim to review your profile and respond within 5 business days.
