Junior Technical Project Manager / Intern with German and English

We are looking for someone who wants to start a career in IT project and product management within our Product Management & Advisory area. This opportunity is open to people with no professional experience or those taking their first steps in IT and project management.

Initially, you will support your mentor and the team on more complex projects and tasks. As you gain knowledge and experience, you will gradually take ownership of your own tasks and areas of work, progressing towards managing projects independently.

We are looking for someone with a passion for technology and AI, a business mindset, and strong communication skills. This role involves working directly with clients, technical teams, and decision-makers, and calls for initiative in conversations, openness to feedback, and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Support your mentor and the team in delivering more complex projects and tasks, gradually taking ownership of your own projects.
• Help coordinate work, update tasks, and track progress, deadlines, and agreed actions.
• Participate in client meetings and workshops, and gather and document business needs.
• Work with technical teams to clarify requirements and develop solution concepts.
• Help build the backlog, write User Stories, and define acceptance criteria.
• Maintain regular communication with your mentor, decision-makers, and clients, and gradually take responsibility for managing stakeholder relationships.
• Prepare documentation, process diagrams, mock-ups, and materials supporting pre-sales activities.
• Use AI tools for analysis, documentation, and improving day-to-day tasks, while verifying their outputs.

Requirements

• Fluency in German and English, enabling confident communication with clients and work with documentation.
• A technical educational background, for example in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Basic IT knowledge and an understanding of how software is developed.
• A passion for technology and AI, awareness of current trends, and practical use of AI tools in your studies, work, or personal projects.
• A business mindset: curiosity about client needs and the ability to connect technological possibilities with business benefits.
• Strong communication skills: initiating direct conversations, asking questions, listening actively, and sharing information clearly.
• Openness to feedback and a willingness to put guidance into practice and discuss challenges with your mentor and the team.
• Analytical thinking, good organisational skills, and accountability for assigned tasks.
• A willingness to develop in project management, product ownership, and client advisory work.
• Initial experience gained through academic, personal, internship, or professional projects will be an asset. Previous work experience in IT or project management is not required.
