JOB DESCRIPTION
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The tester participates in the testing of existing and new (web) applications in the context of the implementation of the Programmatic Approach to Nitrogen (PAS)
The tester works in a team with analysts and developers and is accountable to the project leader. The tasks are the following:
- Testing new and existing functionalities
- Translating functional specifications into test cases and test scenarios
- Performing the tests and passing on the results
- Ensuring that the tests provide the best possible coverage of the daily use of the application
- Working / communicating openly and transparently.
- The proposed candidate must at least meet the following competencies, listed in order of importance.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES :
- Demonstrable experience with functional testing
- Demonstrable experience with testing web applications
- Demonstrable experience with formal test methods and techniques
- Demonstrable experience (minimum 1 year) with Test plans in Azure DevOps
- Demonstrable experience (minimum 1 year) with SQL and Oracle database
- Demonstrable experience with automated testing
- Demonstrable knowledge of specialist testing suites or tools
- Demonstrable experience with supporting testing by the business
- Demonstrable experience with Scrum
SKILLS
- Proven experience as a test specialist in testing small business critical or larger non-business critical applications
- Demonstrable experience with automated testing
- Demonstrated experience with formal testing methods and techniques
- Proven experience with web application testing
- Demonstrable experience (minimum 1 year) with relational databases and SQL
- Proven experience (minimum 1 year) with Test plans in Azure DevOps
- Demonstrable knowledge of functional testing
- Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR - level C2.
- Proven experience supporting testing by the business
- Demonstrable experience with Scrum
- Demonstrable knowledge of functional testing
- Demonstrable knowledge of specialist testing suites or tools
