About the Role

Lumenalta is a technology firm of more than 500 specialists who build data, AI, and software solutions for enterprise clients. Our marketing team is growing its video program, and we're hiring a Junior Video Editor to turn raw footage into polished clips that put our people and our work in front of buyers.

You'll edit executive interviews, client stories, product demos, and social video, working closely with our Design Lead and the wider marketing team. It's an entry-level role, ideal for a recent graduate who wants to build a professional portfolio on a steady flow of real projects, with hands-on coaching from our Design Lead.

What You'll Do

  • Edit executive and expert interviews. Cut longer recorded conversations into 3–4 short clips each for LinkedIn, the website, and media pitching, about two interviews a month.
  • Help produce the executive video series. Edit brand and point-of-view videos from multi-camera footage, from rough cut to final approval.
  • Build videos from stock and animation. Assemble voiceover-led videos, such as partner introductions, using licensed stock footage and simple motion graphics.
  • Edit product and solution demos. Turn screen recordings into clear business and technical demo videos for sales.
  • Create social and event content. Produce cutdowns, captions, and recaps, formatted for each channel's aspect ratio and length.
  • Keep everything on brand. Apply Lumenalta's visual identity, typography, lower thirds, and caption styles consistently.
  • Manage the video library. Organize footage, project files, music licenses, and final exports so the team can find and reuse them.
  • Work from feedback. Turn around revisions quickly and track versions through review with Mariano and the people on camera.

What You'll Bring

  • A recent degree in film, video production, communications, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience from internships, student media, freelance, or personal projects.
  • A portfolio or reel of class, internship, or personal work, ideally including interviews or short-form social video.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • A good ear for pacing and story: you can find the strongest 30 seconds in a 30-minute interview.
  • Comfort with AI-assisted editing tools for transcription, rough cuts, and captions.
  • Eagerness to learn, take feedback, and turn around revisions quickly, plus clear written communication and good organization.

Nice to Have

  • Some experience with After Effects or another motion graphics tool.
  • Familiarity with Figma or Canva for thumbnails and simple graphics.
  • Basic audio cleanup and color correction.
  • Interest in technology, or an internship in marketing or agency video.

How We Work

  • Fully remote, with at least a 6-hour overlap with US Eastern time.
  • Reports to Mariano Xerez, Design Lead, and works day to day with the marketing team, including content, digital PR, and design.
  • Coaching from day one: weekly rough-cut reviews with Mariano and a steady project flow planned on a shared content calendar.

  • Adobe Premiere Pro. Our editing software of choice. Applicants must be able to create projects, import content via XML, edit sequences, color correct, audio correct, generate transcript, use effects and MOGRT and export media files for multiple formats.
