Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Junior Web Developer in the EdTech domain. The role involves implementing and maintaining front-end and back-end features for web-based learning platforms, ensuring responsive and accessible user interfaces. The Junior Web Developer will collaborate with designers, product managers, and senior engineers to develop, test, and deploy new functionality, fix bugs, and improve performance. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean, documented code, integrating APIs, participating in code reviews, and supporting continuous improvement of the overall web experience for learners and educators.

Qualifications

• Good command of English. Knowledge in Chinese a plus.
• Candidates should possess skills in Web Development and Programming for building and maintaining modern web applications.
• Candidates should possess skills in Front-End Development and Web Design to create user-friendly, responsive, and accessible interfaces.
• Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development to work with server-side logic, APIs, and databases.
• Familiarity with frameworks (Next.JS, Supabase, Auth)
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
• Interest in education technology and applying AI to improve learning experiences is a plus.
• An associate or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
