Key Account Manager – IC Substrates / Semiconductor
Location: South Korea (Remote / Work from Home)
Base Salary: USD 100,000 – 200,000 + performance bonus
Company Introduction
A publicly listed, global leader in electronic interconnect solutions with more than 40 years of history. Its unique "three-in-one" business model spans printed circuit boards (PCB), IC package substrates and electronic assembly. As one of the world's top PCB manufacturers and a pioneer in the IC substrate industry, the company operates a national-level technology center and is committed to becoming a world-class integrator of electronic circuit technologies and solutions.
About the Role
Our client is expanding its presence in South Korea and is seeking a Key Account Manager to lead strategic account management in the Korean market and drive business growth. You will serve as the core point of contact, bridging strategic semiconductor customers and the company's internal R&D, manufacturing and sales teams.
Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle management of strategic IC substrate customers, from product qualification and capacity ramp-up through volume production and contract renewal
- Serve as the customer's primary contact, coordinating R&D, manufacturing, quality and sales to ensure commitments are delivered
- Identify and develop industry-leading semiconductor customers in North America
- Lead price negotiations, contract signing and the development of long-term supply agreements
- Closely monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics and technology roadmaps, providing market insights to support strategic decisions
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience managing U.S. customers in the IC substrate or semiconductor industry
- In-depth understanding of core technologies in PCB substrates or semiconductor packaging
- Proven ability to communicate, negotiate and collaborate effectively with Korean customers
- Skilled at building customer relationships and adapting to cross-time-zone, cross-cultural work environments
- Legally authorized to work in South Korea
Nice to Have
- Existing customer relationships at Korean semiconductor or fabless semiconductor companies
- Experience with advanced packaging (e.g., FC-BGA, FC-CSP)
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary of USD 100,000 – 200,000 + performance bonus

A few notes:
- Benefits section is empty in your original text. I left a placeholder. If it matches the FAE role, I can reuse: medical insurance including dependent coverage, paid time off and holidays, and flexible work arrangements.
- Possible inconsistency in the role: the role is based in Korea but responsibilities include developing North American customers, and the qualifications ask for U.S. customer experience while also requiring effective collaboration with Korean customers. If that is intentional (e.g., covering both markets), consider stating it explicitly in the overview, such as "covering Korean and North American accounts."
- Equal opportunity statement was not in this text. If you want it, I can append the same one used in the FAE posting.
