About the role

Reporting to the New Business Manager, you'll be the person those advisers rely on. You'll know their businesses, understand what they need from us and help them write more good business with Chubb. That means more new business coming in, more of it getting from submitted to completed, and more of it staying on the books.

• You'll be balancing growth with quality: watching persistency, spotting early signs a book is heading the wrong way, and working within delegated authority. You'll also pull together Sales and Distribution, the Strategic Account Manager and operations so advisers get one consistent message and a smooth experience.
  
  

You'll also have a real hand in building something. We're creating a new relationship model and team culture focused on doing the right thing and getting good outcomes for customers, and this role helps shape it.

Location: Wellington or Auckland (Takapuna)

What You'll Own

• Helping your advisers write more good business with Chubb
• Turning more submissions into completed policies and growing the in force book
• Spotting persistency and book quality issues early, and acting before they bite
• Being the go to person for your advisers, from pipeline updates to sorting complaints
• Fixing the processes that slow advisers down
• Keeping your panel sound and compliant, including FAA risk
  
  

What Success Looks Like

• Your advisers are writing more business with Chubb
• More of that business gets from submitted to completed
• Problems with a book get spotted and dealt with early
• Advisers trust you to sort issues and keep them in the loop
  
  

Qualifications

What you’ll bring

• At least two years in key account management, Life insurance experience is a real plus
• You build trust quickly and can influence people you don't manage
• Good commercial judgement and solid negotiation skills
• Organised, clear, and you follow things through until they're sorted
• Calm and steady when things change or the path isn't clear
