Truliant’s mission is to improve lives by putting our members first, providing great service and straightforward financial solutions. Our core values of Member Focus, Service, Guidance, Relationships, and Community define how we interact with members to fulfill our mission of improving lives and providing a foundation on which we conduct ourselves.
Our Promise to Our Teammates: Truliant strives to provide all teammates with an enjoyable place to work where they feel valued, empowered and rewarded for all that they do.
Why this role matters
At Truliant Federal Credit Union, trusted knowledge helps employees make confident decisions and deliver a more consistent experience for our members. In this role, you’ll shape how enterprise information is organized, governed, discovered, and prepared for AI-enabled search and self-service.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys turning complex information into practical, scalable solutions and wants to influence the future of how employees find and use knowledge.
What you’ll do
You’ll own the product direction for Truliant’s enterprise knowledge environment, bringing together strategy, information architecture, governance, content modernization, and AI readiness. Your work will help make knowledge easier to find, easier to trust, and easier to maintain.
Day to day, you’ll:
- Build and manage the knowledge product strategy, roadmap, priorities, requirements, and continuous improvement plan.
- Create practical standards for taxonomy, metadata, ownership, lifecycle management, search, and AI-ready content.
- Lead cross-functional modernization efforts, including content cleanup, consolidation, migration readiness, adoption, and measurement.
- You’ll partner closely with business leaders, content owners, subject matter experts, IT, Compliance, Risk, Legal, AI governance partners, vendors, and learning stakeholders to create a knowledge ecosystem employees can rely on.
What you bring
We’re looking for a product-minded knowledge leader who can move comfortably between strategy and execution. You know how to create structure, build alignment, and turn business, employee, operational, compliance, and technology needs into scalable solutions.
Required Experience
- 5+ years of progressive experience in knowledge management, enterprise content management, information architecture, digital workplace, product management, learning technology, or a related field, including responsibility for enterprise platforms, products, or knowledge capabilities.
- 3+ years leading or managing knowledge management products, platforms, capabilities, or programs, including product strategy, roadmap development, requirements, prioritization, stakeholder alignment, release readiness, adoption, and continuous improvement.
Required Skills
- Develop and manage knowledge product strategy, roadmaps, backlogs, priorities, requirements, and measurable improvement plans.
- Design information architecture and governance standards for taxonomy, metadata, classification, naming, ownership, stewardship, quality, version control, and content lifecycles.
- Improve enterprise search and knowledge discovery by using search patterns, usage data, content-quality indicators, and employee feedback.
- Prepare and optimize content for intelligent search, conversational interfaces, retrieval-based solutions, and employee self-service while applying responsible AI principles.
- Lead discovery, solution design, acceptance testing, release readiness, adoption, and post-implementation improvement across the product lifecycle.
- Influence cross-functional stakeholders and translate strategy, governance, and AI-readiness concepts into clear, practical guidance.
Education/Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in knowledge management, learning technology, information systems, human resources, business, communications, content strategy, product management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- You should also be comfortable balancing employee needs, business value, technical feasibility, governance requirements, and organizational risk while making clear priorities and decisions.
What sets you apart
You don’t need to check every box, but here’s what will help you thrive in this role:
- 3+ years designing or implementing knowledge architecture and governance practices, including taxonomy, metadata, enterprise search, content ownership, stewardship, quality standards, lifecycle management, and preparing enterprise knowledge for AI-enabled retrieval and employee self-service.
- Experience in a regulated environment where policy accuracy, ownership, auditability, and review cycles matter.
- Experience supporting AI-enabled knowledge retrieval, chatbot content support, intent mapping, or employee self-service experiences.
- Experience with SharePoint knowledge management, digital workplace search, Kore.ai, Microsoft Copilot readiness, or enterprise content modernization, including Alfresco-to-SharePoint work.
What you’ll get
We believe in supporting our team members both professionally and personally.
In this role, you can expect:
- The opportunity to shape a highly visible enterprise capability that helps Truliant employees find trusted information and better support our members.
- Meaningful ownership of strategy and execution, with room to build standards, influence priorities, and see improvements through from discovery to adoption.
- Broad partnership across business, technology, governance, learning, and leadership teams, supported by a culture that values practical solutions and shared accountability.
- Professional growth at the intersection of knowledge management, product leadership, enterprise search, content modernization, and responsible AI.
- Variety and connection across Truliant locations, with up to 10% travel to Charlotte, Winston-Salem, or another location as needed.
