A Korean teacher is responsible for teaching the Korean language and culture to students. Some specific job duties of a Korean teacher may include: Planning and delivering lessons that are aligned with the curriculum and goals of the school or district. Creating a positive and engaging learning environment that promotes student achievement and participation. Assessing student progress and providing feedback to students, parents, and school administrators. Keeping accurate records of student attendance and grades. Participating in professional development opportunities to stay up to date on best practices in teaching Korean as a second language. Collaborating with other teachers and school staff to support student learning and success. Participating in extracurricular activities, such as language clubs or cultural events, to provide additional learning opportunities for students. Being knowledgeable about Korean culture, literature, and history and incorporating this knowledge into lesson plans and classroom activities. Requirements A bachelor's degree in education or a related field, such as linguistics or Asian studies. Be fluent in both Korean and English. Have strong communication skills and be able to adapt your teaching style to the needs of your students. Have experience with or be willing to learn instructional technology and use it in the classroom. Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
