Korean/English Medical Interpreter – Remote

I-Call International is looking for experienced Korean-English medical interpreters to join our remote team. As a medical interpreter, you will facilitate clear and accurate communication between Korean-speaking patients and healthcare providers, ensuring that medical information is interpreted accurately and confidentially.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, consecutive interpretation between Korean-speaking patients and healthcare professionals.
• Interpret medical terminology, diagnoses, treatments, instructions, and other healthcare information.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and follow professional interpreting standards.
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and professionalism during every interaction.
• Keep up to date with medical terminology and interpreting practices.
• Accurately document interpretation services when required.

Requirements

• Native or advanced Korean and fluent English.
• Minimum 1 year of interpreting or translation experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity.
• Ability to remain accurate and professional under pressure.
• Reliable attendance and availability for assigned shifts.

Manadatory Technical Requirements

• Stable internet connection with at least 15 Mbps download and upload speed.
• PC with Intel Core i7 (6th generation or higher) and a minimum of 8 GB RAM.
• USB wired noise-canceling headset (Logitech H390 or similar) complusory
• Ethernet/LAN connection with an Ethernet cable.
• RTT/Latency: maximum 100 ms.
• Jitter: under 10 ms.
• Packet Loss: 0%.
• 1080p HD webcam- complusory
• Quiet and professional workspace with a real solid grey background complusory

Work Type: Remote

Schedule: Hourly shift program

Payrate: 13 USD per hour
