Kubernetes Platform Engineer at BairesDev

As a Kubernetes Platform Engineer, you will lead the evolution of our container orchestration strategy across multi-cloud environments. You will serve as a technical authority for our core platform, ensuring high scalability and reliability for business-critical applications.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design and implementation of Kubernetes platform initiatives across multi-cluster and multi-cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain core platform components using Go, focusing on internal systems like etcd and lifecycle management tools.
• Architect and manage advanced storage and networking solutions utilizing CSI, Longhorn, and various CNI providers.
• Drive the strategy for Kubernetes distributions like RKE to ensure consistent and secure cluster deployments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define architectural standards for platform scalability, reliability, and security.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Proven expertise in leading Kubernetes platform initiatives across multi-cluster environments.
• Proficiency in Go programming and designing core platform components like CSI, CNI, and etcd.
• Hands-on experience with RKE, Longhorn storage, and cloud-native infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
