What you will do:
Screen companies, individuals and other relevant parties against approved internal and external databases
Review alerts on sanctions, politically exposed persons, adverse media and other compliance risk indicators, and distinguish genuine matches from false positives
Corroborate screening results with KYC documentation and internal records to check consistency and completeness
Conduct open-source research and document your sources and conclusions clearly
Prepare concise, evidence-based evaluations and recommend whether a case can be closed or needs escalation
Maintain complete, audit-ready case files and support quality checks, audits and regulatory examinations
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned within the scope of the team’s activities
What you bring & who you are:
Relevant university degree
Experience in back office, middle office, settlements, trade support, operations or a similar control-oriented function
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including filters, lookups, pivot tables and data validation
Great attention to detail and a structured way of handling large volumes of information
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Self-management and problem solving skills
Team player with strong cross-functional coordination skills
Ability to spot opportunities for changes and improvements, eagerness to explore new subjects
Good command of written and spoken English
Ideally, experience in the energy, commodities, utilities, banking or financial-services sector
