We are looking for a Lawyer with hands-on experience in iGaming who can take ownership of legal matters and manage them independently from initial assessment through completion. The role combines international legal work with direct client interaction and requires a practical, business-minded approach to solving legal and regulatory matters.
Responsibilities:
Take ownership of assigned legal matters and manage them independently through the full workflow, ensuring deadlines and expected outcomes are met
Provide legal support to businesses operating in the iGaming industry across corporate, licensing, contractual, and compliance-related matters
Handle company incorporation and ongoing corporate administration across different jurisdictions
Support gaming licensing processes, including applications, ongoing requirements, and related legal documentation
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements relevant to the industry, including marketing, software development, and licensing agreements
Communicate directly with international clients, explaining legal requirements, potential risks, and available solutions in a clear and commercially practical way
Research legislation, regulatory requirements, and relevant legal practices to support ongoing projects and client requests
Assist with bank account opening and related legal or corporate documentation
Maintain accurate legal records and work with internal documentation, databases, and task management systems
Identify missing information early and coordinate efficiently with clients and senior legal colleagues when additional input is required
Requirements:
3+ years of overall legal experience, including at least 2 years working with iGaming businesses in an in-house or legal advisory environment
University degree in Law
Practical understanding of key legal workflows within iGaming, particularly corporate matters, licensing, contracts, and compliance
Previous experience working directly with clients and the ability to manage professional communication independently
Confident written and spoken English for calls, correspondence, legal research, and document-related work in an international environment
Strong legal drafting and analytical skills, with the ability to research unfamiliar matters and turn findings into clear, actionable conclusions
Ability to communicate complex legal topics in a straightforward way and adapt explanations to a non-legal audience
High level of ownership and independence, combined with strong attention to detail, reliability, and effective deadline management
Commercial mindset and ability to consider the business implications of legal recommendations rather than focusing solely on formal legal requirements
Confident user of Google Workspace, including Drive, Docs, and Sheets
Would be a plus:
Practical exposure to gaming licensing frameworks such as Curaçao, MGA, Anjouan, Isle of Man, or other relevant jurisdictions
Previous communication with regulators, banks, or payment service providers
Working knowledge of AML/KYC and iGaming compliance processes
What's in it for you:
Fully remote working format
Opportunity to work on diverse international iGaming projects
Room for professional development and career growth
Collaborative and professional working environment
