Outpatient behavioral health, counseling with individual, adults, children and adolescence

We are a thoughtful, relationship-centered therapy practice seeking experienced mental health clinicians who are ready for their next professional chapter. Our ideal team members bring a solid professional identity and a desire to do meaningful work in a supportive, well-run practice.

This role is a great fit for clinicians who feel confident in the therapy room, value clinical autonomy, and appreciate collaboration, consultation, and ongoing growth. We aim to create an environment where therapists can focus on high-quality care without the pressures that often lead to burnout—supported by reasonable expectations, respectful leadership, and a shared commitment to ethical, client-centered work.

We welcome clinicians who are reflective, compassionate, and intentional about how they practice—whether you are deepening your clinical niche, seeking greater balance, or looking for a long-term professional home.

📋 Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy tailored to client needs.
  • Conduct clinical assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, trauma-informed, play therapy, etc.).
  • Participate in case consultations and practice development meetings.
  • Collaborate with other professionals and community partners as needed.
  • Maintain professional and ethical standards in accordance with licensure requirements.
  • Support practice standards and quality of care.

✅ General Requirements

Required:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field.
  • Active independent NY state licensure such as LCSW, LMSW with supervision plan, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent in good standing (for fully independent practice).
  • Excellent clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and intervention.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to ethical practice and continuing education.
  • 1-5 years of experience as a therapist/clinician.

· Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems

Preferred:

  • Experience in community mental health, private practice, or outpatient settings.
  • Experience with trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, EMDR, IFS, CBT/DBT and play therapy.
  • Bilingual ability (e.g., English/Spanish) preferred, but not required
