Lead 3D Artist

We're seeking an individual who can help us continue to break boundaries, lead by example, and deliver on our promise to players.

What you will do

• Provide leadership and mentorship to the 3D art team, influencing visual standards and helping drive project decisions.
• Manage, coordinate, and support team members to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality results across all 3D asset creation.
• Manage external art partners to ensure high-quality assets that meet artistic, technical, and production requirements on time.
• Work from reference, 3D scan or concept art to model, sculpt, and texture realistic 3D assets.
• Create high-poly sculpts and bake them down to optimized, game-resolution models.
• Generate photorealistic textures using PBR workflows and tools.
• Prototype quick meshes to explore form and composition early in production.
• Collaborate with the world art and design teams to ensure assets fit gameplay and narrative needs.
• Independently manage workload and prioritize tasks to meet production goals.
• Optimize assets for performance, including collision and LODs, while adhering to technical constraints.

Who you are

• Proficient in industry-standard 3D tools such as Blender, Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, etc.
• Experienced with PBR workflows and photorealistic asset creation.
• Familiar with integrating and cleaning scan data into production pipelines.
