Role Description The Lead Architect role is a full-time remote position responsible for guiding the overall architectural vision and ensuring cohesive, robust designs across projects. This role involves defining architecture standards, leading solution design sessions, and collaborating closely with stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams. The Lead Architect will review and refine technical and architectural designs, oversee integrations between systems, and provide hands-on support for complex software development activities as needed. Daily responsibilities include creating and maintaining architecture documentation, assessing risks and trade-offs, mentoring team members, and aligning project work with strategic goals and best practices. The role also requires active participation in planning, estimation, and continuous improvement of processes and tools.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, with experience creating scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• Proficiency in Software Development and Integration, including working with modern frameworks, APIs, and system interoperability.
• Demonstrated Project Management capabilities, including planning, prioritization, and coordination across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience leading architecture for distributed or cloud-based systems is highly beneficial.
• Background in mentoring or coaching technical teams and setting standards or best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Comfort working in a remote environment with strong self-management, collaboration, and documentation skills.
