Lead Associate

WE ARE HIRING: Lead Associate Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka Employment Type: Full-time Work Arrangement: Hybrid Company Industry: IT / BPM Role Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Lead Associate to support software asset management, inventory control, software license management, application deployment, and compliance-related activities within an IT/BPM environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate software and hardware records, supporting license compliance, assisting with application installation and troubleshooting, and coordinating with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth IT asset and software management operations. Key Responsibilities Software Asset & Inventory Management Maintain accurate records of software assets, licenses, inventory, and related documentation. Support software asset management activities, including software usage tracking and license record maintenance. Assist in managing inventory related to IT assets, software applications, and licensing requirements. Ensure software and asset records are updated regularly with accuracy and attention to detail. License Compliance & Audit Support Support license compliance activities and assist in preparing records for license audits. Monitor software usage and support proper tracking of licensed applications. Maintain documentation related to OEM, Volume Licensing, SaaS, subscription-based, and other software licensing models. Assist in identifying compliance gaps and support corrective actions where required. Application Deployment & Technical Support Support software application deployment, installation, and troubleshooting activities. Use remote management tools to assist with application installation, updates, and user support. Provide basic troubleshooting support for computer hardware and software-related issues. Coordinate with relevant technical teams to resolve deployment or application-related concerns. Candidate Profile Degree, Higher National Diploma, or part qualification in an IT-related field . Minimum 2–3 years of experience in IT support, software asset management, inventory management, license management, or a related role. Advanced knowledge of MS Office packages . Knowledge and experience in asset management, inventory management, and software license management . Understanding of software licensing models such as OEM, Volume Licensing, SaaS, and subscription-based licensing . Knowledge of computer hardware components and basic troubleshooting skills. Experience in Software Asset Management will be an advantage. Understanding of license compliance, license audits, and software usage tracking. Experience in software application deployment and troubleshooting will be an added advantage. Knowledge of application installation and remote management tools such as Endpoint Central will be an added advantage. Prior exposure to compliance-related work, vendor communication, or procurement processes will be an added advantage. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Fast learning ability with a proactive mindset. Ability to meet deadlines individually and as part of a team.
