Build the future of Business Analysis at AirportLabs.

Our products support some of the world's leading aviation organisations in solving complex operational challenges. As our Product organisation continues to grow, we're creating a new leadership role focused on one mission: Build a world-class Business Analysis practice.
We're looking for someone who enjoys developing people, improving how teams work, and creating the standards, frameworks, and ways of working that help great products get built.
This is not a traditional Business Analyst role.
You won't own a backlog or spend your time writing requirements for a single product. Instead, you'll help define how Business Analysis works across the entire organisation while supporting and developing our community of Business Analysts.

- 2500 - 3500 GBP gross/month, depending on role fit and experience level

Responsibilities
People Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Business Analyst community
- Support hiring, onboarding, career development, and capability growth
- Foster a collaborative culture focused on ownership, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement
- Identify development opportunities and help Business Analysts continuously grow
Business Analysis Practice
- Define and continuously improve Business Analysis standards, templates, and best practices
- Improve how teams approach discovery, requirements, documentation, prioritisation, and handovers
- Increase consistency, quality, and efficiency across Product teams
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes and introduce practical improvements, including AI-assisted ways of working
Cross-functional Leadership
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Delivery, and company leadership
- Support strategic initiatives requiring senior Business Analysis expertise
- Help teams translate complex business problems into clear, structured solutions
- Act as the go-to person for Business Analysis practices across the organisation
Qualififications
We're looking for someone who combines strong Business Analysis expertise with leadership experience
You'll likely have:
- Experience as a Business Analyst in a software, SaaS, or product environment
- Experience leading, mentoring, or developing Business Analysts or similar professionals
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience improving processes and ways of working
- Excellent analytical thinking and structured problem-solving abilities
- A solid understanding of Agile product development
- A proactive mindset with the ability to drive initiatives independently
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Romanian
Nice to have
- Certification in Business Analysis, Agile, or Project Management
- Experience building or leading a Business Analysis Community of Practice
- Experience using AI to improve Business Analysis or Product Development workflows
- Experience in aviation, enterprise software, or other operationally complex industries
