You'll stay hands-on across discovery, interaction and visual design, prototyping, and implementation. Working with Product and Engineering, you'll use evidence to shape priorities and measure results. You'll also mentor UX colleagues and help teams apply AI and code-based tools with sound judgment.

- Interaction and visual design: Deep expertise in information architecture, complex workflows, and detailed interface design.
- Prototyping and AI tools: Experience building realistic interactive prototypes using UX, AI, and code-based tools, with the judgment to choose the right approach and verify the results.
- Product direction: Ability to turn ambiguous needs into a clear problem definition and use evidence to influence priorities with Product and Engineering.
- Design systems and accessibility: Experience evolving reusable patterns across related workflows and ensuring solutions meet accessibility standards.
- Influence and mentorship: Ability to align stakeholders around decisions, resolve tradeoffs, and coach designers in research and design practice.
- Outcome measurement: Experience defining success measures and using research and product data to evaluate results after release.
Responsibilities:
- Independently lead research and design for a complex product area or initiative, taking responsibility for the experience across connected workflows.

- Partner with UX researchers when the scope or methods call for specialist expertise, while retaining ownership of research within your work.
- Shape priorities with Product and Engineering by connecting customer evidence, business goals, and technical constraints.
- Develop concepts and testable prototypes that help teams explore future experiences and make informed roadmap decisions.
- Carry solutions into detailed interaction and visual design. Work closely with Engineering through implementation and resolve experience gaps as they emerge.
- Use AI and code-based tools to speed up research and prototyping, verify outputs, and model accountable use for other designers.
- Evolve design patterns across your product area and partner with Principal designers on shared standards and broader experience direction.
- Define and track success measures with Product and Engineering. Use real usage and customer feedback to determine whether the work delivers the intended outcome.
- Mentor UX colleagues, lead critiques, and build alignment with senior stakeholders through clear recommendations grounded in evidence.
