We are looking for a tech leader, who is highly creative and possess the ability to understand problems and find new ways to solve them while leading the development team.

We are searching for a lead developer who’s passionate and willing to propose new ideas and solutions for the product and the overall company’s vision. It’s also very important that he possess a big sense of responsibility and discipline, but the most important, to be proactive and able to work without supervision.

As a tech lead, yo will be working with a team of software developers supervising every step of the software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis, propose of the solution, software architecture and coding.

Also, ensure the team delivers on time while keeping high coding standards and deployment proceses (e.g. code versioning, CI, Devops, QA).

You will be in direct communication with the CTO and customer/stakeholder to ensure the deliverables and milestones accomplishment.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Software proficiency

  • Technical writing

  • Stong data analys and problem solving

  • Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor

  • In-depth knowledge of performance metrics

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Organizational and time-management skills

  • Decision-making skills

  • Good writing (english and spanish)

  • English language (B2 - C1 equivalent) (writen and conversational)


Technical Skills

  • Extensive understanding of OOP, Algorithms and Data Structures
  • Basic Knoweldge of Linux / Unix based OS's.
  • Version control and management (Git).
  • understanding of software development life cycle and CI / CD lifecycle management (Any technology).
  • Good understanding of SQL and ER models.
  • Good understanding of design patterns.
  • Knowledge and experience developing with at least one of these technologies: Node JS, PHP Laravel
  • Domain on development with web technologies and at least one of the following front-end frameworks: ReactJS, Angular
  • Understanding of XML and JSON notations, as such as sub technologies (XSD, XSL, Validation schemas, etc)

Nice to have:

Here is a list of skills, not required for the job, but nice to have and give extra points:
  • Experience working with Containers (Dockers, Kubernetes, etc)
  • AWS and devops basic knowledge
  • Passion and love for videogames
  • Basic understanding or interest for AI
