What you’ll do

As a Lead Electrical Engineer based in Brisbane, you’ll join a team that delivers projects across the mining and resources, oil and gas and water sectors, with a particular focus on our growing water portfolio.

You'll contribute to projects and programs that make a real difference and be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind. You will:

• Partner with clients to deliver complex electrical engineering projects, providing expert technical guidance from concept to completion and help build the kind of relationships that lead to repeat work.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including our instrumentation and control specialists, to solve complex engineering challenges and deliver high-quality project outcomes.

• Lead technical design packages and provide trusted engineering advice that enables confident and informed decisions.

• Shape innovative and resilient engineering solutions that create lasting value for clients and communities.

• Drive project performance through engineering excellence, optimisation and continuous improvement, while mentoring the next generation of engineers.

What you’ll bring

• Relevant engineering qualifications in Electrical Engineering, coupled with RPEQ, CPEng or RPEng accreditation and extensive experience in electrical engineering systems.
• A proven track record delivering practical, impactful outcomes across water, oil and gas, mining or other complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills, including technical reporting, client relationship management and multidisciplinary teamwork.
• The ability to see the big picture, challenge assumptions and develop effective engineering solutions while balancing technical, operational and project requirements.
• A flexible and hands-on approach, with the ability to undertake site visits as required to support successful project delivery.
