Job Title: Lead Generation Representative

Monthly Pay: $3,533 - $4,962 USD per month

Summary:

Every qualified conversation helps a prospective customer reach the right person and gives the sales team a clear next step. The Lead Generation Representative contacts prospects, identifies initial interest, and arranges introductory meetings without closing sales. This position sits within the lead generation team, works under a business development team lead, and collaborates with sales representatives and scheduling colleagues. This is a fully remote position offering work from home in Pennsylvania, United States. The role requires a 40-hour weekly commitment. Working days and shift times may vary.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review assigned prospect queues and incoming inquiries, checking contact details, previous outreach, and stated interests before starting each conversation.
  • Make outbound calls through a Contact-center phone system such as RingCentral, introduce the purpose clearly, and ask whether the prospect can speak.
  • Use approved questions to understand business needs, purchasing interest, and readiness for an introductory discussion with a sales representative.
  • Explain relevant product or service information using approved reference materials, answering basic questions without making unsupported promises or closing sales.
  • Enter conversation summaries, qualification answers, contact preferences, and next steps in a CRM such as HubSpot so colleagues can continue accurately.
  • Arrange introductory meetings through a Scheduling and calendar tool such as Calendly, checking representative availability and confirming the prospect's preferred contact details.
  • Send approved meeting confirmations and reminders, including the meeting purpose and connection information, so prospects know what to expect.
  • Follow up on unanswered outreach and missed meetings according to team guidance, respecting requests to stop contact and updating statuses promptly.
  • Route detailed product questions to sales representatives and raise unclear qualification criteria, scheduling conflicts, or system problems with the team lead.
  • Meet quality expectations through accurate qualification, timely outreach, complete notes, appropriate handoffs, and dependable follow-up rather than simply counting completed calls.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • No experience required; related experience in lead generation, appointment setting, telephone outreach, or customer-facing work is preferred.
  • Understanding of introductory prospect conversations, basic lead qualification, and the difference between arranging a meeting and completing a sale.
  • Ability to learn call scripts and product or service information, then explain relevant details clearly without overstating their value.
  • Clear spoken and written communication, including asking focused questions, listening carefully, and writing concise conversation summaries for colleagues.
  • Willingness to learn the named CRM, phone, and scheduling systems while following established outreach steps and contact preferences.
  • Ability to maintain accurate entries, manage follow-up tasks, and remain courteous when prospects decline or request another contact time.
  • A reliable computer, high-speed internet, and quiet private workspace, plus availability for the 40-hour weekly commitment and agreed working days and shift times.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.

Perks & Benefits:

  • Fully remote work from home within Pennsylvania, with daily responsibilities completed through phone and online systems.
  • Structured onboarding and training on the named systems, approved conversation guides, qualification criteria, and meeting handoff procedures.
  • Regular check-ins with the team lead to review progress, discuss difficult conversations, and clarify expectations for upcoming work.
  • Build practical skills in lead qualification, telephone outreach, appointment scheduling, and accurate sales handoffs through guided daily practice.
  • Health coverage, paid leave, a 401(k), maternity leave, and bonus opportunities.
