  • You ensure compliance with legal and technical requirements such as VDE and DGUV regulations, GMP, GAMP, 21 CFR Part 11, as well as functional safety requirements (IEC)
  • You are responsible for the lifecycle management of automation systems and electrical installations, including obsolescence and upgrade strategies
  • You lead interdisciplinary project teams and manage all technical workstreams to implement the technical site strategy in your cluster
  • You pilot and implement new MST technologies, e.g. automated backup concepts in DCS, Ondeso, and disaster recovery solutions, thereby driving digital transformation at the site

WHO YOU ARE

  • Completed university degree in automation technology, electrical engineering, or a comparable technical discipline
  • Several years of relevant experience in process control technology (PCS7), electrical engineering, automation, and OT systems in a production environment, ideally in chemical production
  • Experience in leading or contributing to investment projects, including specification, implementation, and commissioning
  • Practical experience in process optimization and Advanced Process Control with measurable improvements in plant performance
  • Experience in system lifecycle management, including upgrades, obsolescence management, and cybersecurity aspects

  • Confident communication and effective stakeholder management across functional boundaries, as well as the ability to coordinate and lead teams and external partners
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
