Logitech is the Sweet Spot for people who want their actions to have a positive global impact while having the flexibility to do it in their own way.
Logitech is the Sweet Spot for people who want their actions to have a positive global impact while having the flexibility to do it in their own way.
The Role:
Logitech is looking for a highly capable Lead Manufacturing Systems Engineer to lead the successful implementation and go-live of Siemens Camstar MES at Logitech’s Suzhou factory.
This role is primarily responsible for driving MES deployment from requirement gathering, solution design coordination, project execution, stakeholder alignment, testing, cutover, and go-live stabilization. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on Siemens Camstar MES experience, solid understanding of discrete manufacturing processes, and proven ability to work across factory operations, quality, engineering, supply chain, business teams, and IT.
This is a high-impact, hands-on role for a technical expert who thrives on ownership. You'll be the individual driving our most critical manufacturing IT project from the front. As Logitech expands its Global Manufacturing footprint, this role is positioned to grow in scope and technical influence — toward shaping the digital backbone of our global manufacturing network. If you're a Camstar/MES expert who wants deep, hands-on ownership of mission-critical systems, this role is for you.
Your Contribution:
Be Yourself. Be Open. Stay Hungry and Humble. Collaborate. Challenge. Decide and just Do. These are the behaviors you’ll need for success at Logitech. In this role you will:
1. Lead Camstar MES implementation and go-live
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of Siemens Camstar / Opcenter Execution MES at the Suzhou plant, from requirements through go-live and stabilization.
- Serve as the internal owner and subject-matter expert for the MES platform, managing scope, timeline, budget, and quality of delivery.
- Translate discrete manufacturing business processes (production execution, traceability, quality, WIP, genealogy) into MES configuration and workflows.
- Coordinate and manage external system integrators, Siemens partners, and internal stakeholders across Operations, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering.
- Ensure robust integration between MES and shop-floor equipment, ERP, and other plant systems.
2. Growth Trajectory (Highly Desired) — Manufacturing Systems Architecture
- Contribute to the design of Logitech's Global Manufacturing digital backbone, enabling data acquisition and visibility across JDM/CM partners.
- Help define the target-state manufacturing IT architecture and standards for integrating disparate factory systems and data.
- Leverage manufacturing data to enable and empower Operations and Manufacturing teams through actionable insights.
3. Additional (Nice to Have) — ERP Collaboration
- Partner with Global IT and business stakeholders to support enterprise ERP upgrade initiatives (e.g., Oracle ERP Cloud or SAP) as they intersect with manufacturing.
- Facilitate alignment between plant-level systems and enterprise ERP strategy.
Key Qualifications:
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Proven hands-on experience with Siemens Camstar MES implementation in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of discrete manufacturing processes and shopfloor operations.
- Experience participating in or leading full project lifecycle activities, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, cutover, go-live, and stabilization.
- Strong project coordination and execution skills, with the ability to manage timelines, issues, risks, and cross-functional dependencies.
- Experience working with factory stakeholders, business teams, IT teams, and external implementation partners.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a practical and execution-focused mindset.
- Professional working proficiency in English and Chinese.
In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:
- Experience supporting or participating in ERP implementation projects in manufacturing environments.
- Understanding of MES-ERP integration and manufacturing data/process flows.
- Experience in multinational companies with regional or global stakeholder engagement.
- Knowledge of manufacturing systems architecture and factory systems integration.
- Experience contributing to global manufacturing digital backbone or cross-factory data/system integration initiatives.
Success Measures:
- Successful implementation and go-live of Siemens Camstar MES at the Suzhou factory.
- Stable post-go-live operations with strong adoption from manufacturing users.
- Effective collaboration across factory teams, Global IT, and external partners.
- Scalable MES and integration foundation that supports future manufacturing digitalization.
