Job Description

Position based in Paris, not open to discussion

The Accounting team is a key partner to the business: it secures day-to-day financial operations, delivers reliable closing and cash information, and continuously improves processes and controls in collaboration with FP&A, Tax, Legal and other stakeholders.

What you will do:

• Own the end-to-end invoicing process, from accounting preparation and validation through payment follow-up, ensuring accurate and timely execution.

• Manage and consolidate the cash forecast, improve the dashboard and provide clear analysis of variances and landing risks.

• Perform and coordinate accounting closing activities, review entries, reconciliations, accruals and provisions, and clean historical accounting data.

• Develop and operate internal controls, maintain the risk and control matrix, document evidence and follow up action plans to closure.

• Improve and automate working files and recurring processes, and coordinate the day-to-day work and development of a trainee.

• Prepare and file the quarterly WHT return, coordinating the collection and validation of the underlying certificates.

Qualifications

This role is excellent for a person with:

• 8+ years of experience in accounting or financial operations, with solid exposure to invoicing, cash management and month-end closing in an international environment.

• Strong understanding of accounting entries, reconciliations, accruals, provisions, data quality and internal control principles.

• Demonstrated ability to build or consolidate cash forecasts, explain variances and coordinate inputs from multiple stakeholders.

• Advanced Excel skills and a proven appetite for process improvement and automation; experience with ERP (Sage 1000) and tools such as BI tools, Make or Dust is a plus.

• Fluent English, clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to coordinate and coach a trainee or junior contributor.
