The proof: profitable, fast-growing, a unicorn with over $300M in ARR, and millions of people who now feel differently about their money.
We love original thinkers who challenge the status quo. We move fast, tell the truth, and there's nowhere to hide from good work here. If that excites you more than it scares you, you'll fit right in.

Meet The Team 👥
Here at Cleo we have team of ~135 member in our Credit Pillar. This function brings together several specialisms, all working toward managing portfolio performance; designing the systems, models, and controls that make lending sustainable. They drive to build and grow a portfolio of responsible EWA & Pay Later products that can scale across markets while protecting users from high cost debt trap.
About The Role ✍️
We’re hiring a hands-on Lead Product Manager to drive Cleo’s Pay Later risk decisioning roadmap. You’ll build the risk models, credit limits and policies that decide who qualifies for Pay Later and how much credit they get, leading a cross-functional squad across Engineering, ML and Risk.
Key Responsibilities
Improve our risk models, taking them through approval, testing and rollout
Set credit limits and pricing policy, including new risk grids and spending power rules
Own our bureau data partnership (TransUnion) - what data we collect, when, and how it feeds our models
Spot and fix gaps in our data and reporting, working with central data teams
Build solutions to catch fraud within Pay Later
What We're Looking For 🕵️
Deep, hands-on experience in fintech risk, credit or underwriting - model-literate across the full ML lifecycle, from discovery to deployment
Proven record of moving business metrics (not just feature-level metrics) on a fast-scaling product
Comfort owning ambiguity - working with limited data, unproven models and pending approvals, and making the trade-offs between pricing, limits and credit risk
Strong data fluency - runs A/B tests, writes SQL, and translates data into compelling stories
Deep understanding of US consumer finance regulation (e.g. Reg Z, Reg B), with experience working alongside legal, compliance and banking partners
What we offer
We offer benefits package built to support you in and out of work. Benefits vary by country 🌍 and include meaningful equity, comprehensive health, dental and vision insurance, mental health support, a paid one-month sabbatical after four years, a learning and development platform, pension or retirement contributions, and location-specific leave entitlements.
