Reynolds American is evolving into a global multi-category business. Our purpose is to create A Better Tomorrow™ by Building a Smokeless World.
To achieve our ambition, we are looking for colleagues who are ready to join us on this journey. Tomorrow can’t wait, let’s shape it together!
REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Project Manager, Marketing Operations in Winston-Salem, NC
The Lead Project Manager, Marketing Operations plays a key role for Campaign Operations, making campaign work visible, structured, and actionable across the Consumer Experience ecosystem. This role is responsible for intake hygiene, status integrity, daily operating rhythms, weekly pipeline visibility, and project management discipline across active and upcoming work.
This role partners closely with Journey Leads, channel teams, and Campaign Operations leadership to ensure work enters the system with the right information, clear ownership, and defined readiness before execution begins. The role directs contractor capacity day-to-day and helps teams surface blockers, manage dependencies, and maintain a trusted view of campaign status while staying focused on project management and coordination rather than campaign deliverable execution
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Campaign Operations management: Ensure all campaign-related work is accurately tracked, organized, and maintained in compliance with established processes and standards
- Intake hygiene: Review incoming briefs and project requests for completeness, clarity, required inputs, and alignment to approved brief standards before work moves into active management.
- Status integrity: Maintain a trusted view of active work, ensuring Workfront reflects accurate status, owners, timing, dependencies, blockers, and next steps.
- Operating rhythm: Lead daily Campaign Operations stand-ups to surface priorities, blockers, handoffs, timing risks, and capacity considerations.
- Pipeline visibility: Publish the weekly campaign pipeline, providing visibility into active work, upcoming demand, priority shifts, and key operational risks.
- Prioritization support: Translate approved priorities into Workfront sequencing, status visibility, and operational readiness.
- Contractor coordination: Direct contractor capacity day-to-day, ensuring support is aligned to current priorities, workload needs, and delivery timelines.
- Cross-functional coordination: Partner with Journey Leads and channel teams to clarify brief details, resolve intake questions, confirm readiness, and manage timing, handoffs, and dependencies.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Operations, Project Management, or related field preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in project management, campaign operations, marketing operations, workflow management, or related business functions.
- Experience managing project intake, status reporting, pipeline visibility, stand-ups, or cross-functional workflow routines.
- Strong understanding of campaign briefing, channel handoffs, operational readiness, and project governance.
- Strong organization, documentation, prioritization, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage dependencies, surface blockers, and maintain accurate project status across teams.
- Very strong skills in working with Excel and PowerPoint.
