Lead Software Engineer

We're looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join Censhine.

Censhine is a technology company within the Centiro Group, building for complex, business-critical work. We develop connected systems shaped around how organizations operate, with AI deeply integrated into the technology and human judgement firmly in the lead.

Our first major implementation has been developed in close partnership with Cedra, one of Sweden's leading audit, law and advisory firms. Together, we're building technology around the realities of their business, with the platform already supporting thousands of users across the organization.

The impact you'll make

As Lead Software Engineer, you'll play a central role in building and evolving the Censhine platform.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves creating great software. You'll spend most of your time designing, developing and improving the product, transforming ideas and customer needs into reliable, scalable solutions that make a real difference for users.

At the same time, you'll help shape the technical direction of the platform. You'll influence architectural decisions, drive technical improvements and ensure that what we build today supports where we want to go tomorrow.

• Design, develop and continuously improve features and capabilities across the Censhine platform.

• Build scalable, maintainable and high-quality solutions that create real customer value.

• Translate customer and business needs into robust software and great user experiences.

• Contribute to architecture and technical decisions that support long-term growth, performance and reliability.

• Work across the full development lifecycle: design, code, test, deploy and improve.

• Explore new technologies and AI-driven capabilities that strengthen the product and accelerate development.

• Identify technical risks, opportunities and improvement areas and turn them into action.

• Help establish engineering practices that balance speed, quality and long-term sustainability.

Competencies & skills

You build modern, scalable solutions and feel at home in the Microsoft ecosystem, especially C#, .NET and Angular, supported by today's engineering toolbox.

You are comfortable working with:

• Modern cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP

• Cloud-native engineering practices

• APIs and integrations

• CI/CD automation

• Containers and Kubernetes

• Clean architecture and distributed systems

AI is an important part of how we build and evolve our products. Whether you're already integrating AI into solutions or exploring new ways of applying it, you're excited about the possibilities it creates for both customers and software engineering.

You bring

• Several years of experience in software engineering and product development.

• Strong experience building and maintaining modern software solutions.

• The ability to move seamlessly between problem-solving, development and technical decision-making.

• A structured and analytical approach to software development.

• A proactive mindset and a drive to continuously improve products, systems and engineering practices.

• An interest in AI and emerging technologies, and curiosity about how they can improve products, accelerate development and create customer value.

• Experience using, experimenting with, or integrating AI-powered tools and capabilities in software development is highly valued.

• Experience from SaaS, product companies or growth environments.

• Experience working with compliance, security or business-critical systems.

• Experience contributing to technical strategy, architecture or platform evolution.
