Lead Software Engineer (Java)
Dublin – Fully Remote in Ireland
€120K p/a + 15% bonus, 25 days hols, pension, healthcare etc
The Company
A fast-growing, Irish-founded SaaS business whose platform is used by some of the world’s largest enterprises.
The Role
This is a hands-on tech leadership role… you’ll be building product day to day and leading a cross-functional team of 4–5 engineers. Your remit will involve setting the technical direction for your area with the architects, keeping the quality bar high, and making sure the team delivers reliably, release after release. You’ll work closely with Product, Data and Infrastructure, and represent your team’s work to senior leadership.
You can work from the office, from home, or a mix of both, as long as you’re based in Ireland.
The Person
- Around 5+ years’ experience leading teams.
- More than 10 years’ experience as a software engineer (with a strong Java background).
- Good knowledge of cloud architecture, ideally AWS.
- Ideally experienced building AI product.
- Experience with Spring Boot and other tools like Kafka, RabbitMQ etc.
- Confident communicator who builds strong relationships with product and leadership.
