Lead Software Engineer — Mobile & React Native

We founded the company as a fully-remote team (pre Covid!) and are open to applicants that live within a 5 hour time zone difference of US Pacific Time. This is designed to be a senior role since it is taking ownership of a new area with a lot of technical / product complexity (ie you've probably done this sort of work for years). But if you think you're equipped for the job, please apply! Required Experience You are very comfortable working with cross-platform (Android / iOS) React Native apps. You have worked with a high-performing engineering team building a consumer-facing product. You enjoy providing help and mentorship to other really strong engineers who have less experience in your area of specialty. You can help set-up or improve best practices around mobile deployment (CI/CD, automated testing, etc). You know how to profile/debug the performance of React Native apps on both iOS and Android. Recommended Experience (not required) Experience with Apollo GraphQL. Experience with Typescript. Experience working in a monorepo. Comfort making (or learning to make) back-end changes (in Python) if the need comes up occasionally. Cash Compensation US based: $180,000-$200,000 / year Non-US based: $90,000-$110,000 / year Based on seniority and location. Equity is also offered. Benefits Work wherever you want!
