Purpose

The SAP SD Consultant is responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) processes across the organization. This role requires strong expertise in SAP SD, integration with cross-functional SAP modules, and hands-on experience in at least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation project. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to optimize Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, improve operational efficiency, and support digital transformation initiatives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP SD functional solutions.
  • Configure and support SAP SD processes, including:
    • Customer Master Data
    • Sales Orders
    • Pricing
    • Credit Management
    • Shipping and Transportation
    • Billing and Invoicing
    • Returns and Debit/Credit Notes
    • Inter-Company Processes
    • Service Order and Billing
    • Rebates and Incentives Management
    • Chargebacks and Contracts
  • Participate in full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation projects, including blueprinting, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare support.
  • Conduct workshops and gather business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Configure and maintain sales organizations, distribution channels, divisions, and partner determination procedures.
  • Design and support pricing procedures, output management, and Available-to-Promise (ATP) processes.
  • Collaborate with SAP SD Team Leads and cross-functional teams including MM, FI, PP, WM/EWM, TM, and CRM to ensure seamless integration.
  • Develop Functional Specifications (FS) and coordinate with technical teams for custom developments, interfaces, reports, forms, and enhancements.
  • Support unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production deployments.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Deliver end-user training and maintain process documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards and SAP best practices.
  • Configure and support business processes related to Rebates, Billbacks, Chargebacks, Incentives, Royalties, Sales Commissions, and Contract Management.
  • Support integrations between Vistex, SAP SD, FI, MM, and third-party applications.

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.

Experience

  • 6+ years of SAP SD consulting experience.
  • Minimum one completed full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation project.
  • Strong experience with Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes.
  • Hands-on expertise in SAP SD configuration, pricing, billing, shipping, master data management, and integration with MM, FI, PP, and WM modules.

Preferred Requirements

Education

  • Master's degree in a related discipline.

Experience

  • Experience within Medical Device, Consumer Products, or Pharmaceutical industries.
  • Experience with SAP Fiori and SAP Activate methodology.
  • SAP S/4HANA Sales Certification.
  • Experience in global template rollouts and OTC transformation projects.
  • Knowledge of EDI, IDocs, API integrations, and SAP Solution Manager.
