Overview Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and strategic Lead Portfolio Management Analyst to continue to build the Portfolio Management function by ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, driving business value, and enabling data-driven decision-making. In addition to securing the foundation for the program, you will evaluate and manage initiatives across the project portfolio, work with stakeholders to identify capability or offering gaps and translate them into opportunities; conduct rigorous business case assessment requests and provide actionable insights for value realization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical expertise, effective stakeholder management skills, and the ability to deliver concise, high-impact recommendations to leadership. Key Responsibilities include: Build processes, criteria and infrastructure needed to identify, prioritize, manage and monitor initiatives, portfolios and resources in a way that optimal business results and benefits are achieved. Support the design and implementation of frameworks to prioritize portfolio initiatives. Monitor and manage the Transformation Portfolio to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and delivery of expected business outcomes. Help to maintain a strategic view of portfolio initiatives; partner with Transformation Project Managers and teams to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement through periodic reviews. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with stakeholders. Identify and manage cross-program dependencies, helping resolve critical challenges to de-risk value realization. Validate KPIs and drive tracking against business case targets to monitor portfolio performance. Stay informed about market trends, business priorities, and risk factors that could influence portfolio performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership to drive consensus and align with organizational priorities. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports and risk assessments, for transparency. Provide expert support for meetings, ensuring productive discussions and actionable outcomes. Required in-office presence at least 2 days per week Responsibilities Essential Functions: Strong expertise in data analysis and research to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities. Advanced PowerPoint skills to simplify and visually communicate complex topics effectively. Familiarity with portfolio management tools and reporting platforms (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI). Supervisory or Management Responsibility: Oversight of 1 to 2 people Qualifications Minimum Education and/or Experience: 10 years of experience in strategic planning, project portfolio management, risk management, or transformation management. Experience implementing value-driven strategies that enhance business performance and deliver measurable outcomes. Must have at least 2 years designing, implementing and/or operationalizing frameworks for Project Portfolio Management. Staffing Industry preferred. Skills and Abilities: Strong leadership in managing diverse and remote teams. Excellent communication skills, adept at explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and senior leadership. Executive presence/presentation skills Self-starter able to navigate ambiguous environments Skilled in problem-solving and the ability to handle a backlog of issues efficiently Exceptional analytical, strategic, and conceptual thinking skills Embodies leadership qualities in working with varying roles in the organization Demonstrates executive presence and influence skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
