Join Raiffeisen Bank’s Design team for a unique chance to grow both personally and professionally in ways that are not available in most companies.

We’re a multidisciplinary team spread across UX Design, Service Design, UX Research and Product Analytics. We shift between local projects and group level projects that have impact in multiple RBI markets.

We’re looking for an experienced design lead, a systems thinker with great attention for detail.

Key things about UX at Raiffeisen:

It implies partnering with Business and Product Management to combine business objectives, existing requirements and unmet needs into meaningful products and services(obviously).

Consistency and quality is an evergreen problem

Greatness is needed not only in craft, but also in understanding that in complicated industries like banking, where digital is one of many channels, designers play a vital role in breaking silos and working collaboratively towards becoming truly user centric. Ego stays at the door.

As a Lead Designer, you will:

• Be responsible for the backlogs of several key products/teams (2-3 usually),

• You’ll be collaborating with 2-4 other design roles (ux design, ux research, service design, product analytics) to ensure proper problem framing, proper discovery/ideation and proper execution/validation.

• Ensure Design quality across all levels - UI, IA, IxD, informing and consolidating the design system in the process

• Orchestrate alignment with DEV, BA, QA to ensure optimal delivery of products and features, tackling unforeseeable constraints that arise within development on account of legacy systems and technical debt

• Participate in design critique sessions, working with your peers to improve output and consistency across products and features

• Educate non-designers through every interaction, working towards the greater goal of increasing design literacy within the company

What we’re looking for:

• A Portfolio showing not dribble shots, but your actual process, decision making, iterations, tradeoffs, collaboration, attention to detail

• Solid experience in launching digital products

• Critical thinking, product thinking

•Thoughtfulness & capacity to take feedback as an opportunity to improve

• Curiosity

• Stakeholder management skills

• Presentation skills

• Appetite for learning

• Appetite for helping those around you grow

Here’s what might be challenging:

• Making sure every conversation with non-designers is a learning session (for you included)

• Opening your process and letting others in, helping them understand the rationale behind your design decisions

• Being a connector, pushing for collaboration and understanding how to balance short-term with long-term goals.

Here’s why it may be worth it:

• You’ll have the chance to work on products for the local market, reaching literally millions of users and over 100.000 companies, with access to users, hence the chance to actually apply a mature design process.

• You’ll be part of a lovely, distributed team that can facilitate your growth in ways that are rarely available in markets typically defined as outsourcings destinations.
