Learning and Development Consultant

Role Description The Learning and Development Consultant is a full-time, remote role responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing leadership development programs for UpLevel’s clients. Day-to-day tasks include conducting needs assessments, creating learning pathways, and developing training plans that integrate coaching, mentoring, and digital learning experiences. The consultant will design and refine instructional materials, coordinate program delivery, and leverage learning technologies and data to improve outcomes. This role collaborates closely with coaches, mentors, client stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure solutions are aligned with client goals and are inclusive, engaging, and results-oriented. The consultant will also provide ongoing advisory support, evaluate program effectiveness, and recommend continuous improvements based on feedback and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Training & Development skills, including experience designing and delivering leadership or professional development programs.
• Candidates should possess Learning Management skills, including familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), digital learning platforms, and tracking learner progress.
• Candidates should possess Instructional Design skills, including the ability to create structured, learner-centered content and curricula for diverse audiences.
• Candidates should possess Consulting skills, with experience conducting needs assessments, advising clients, and developing tailored learning solutions.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in leadership development, coaching or mentoring environments, data-driven program evaluation, and remote collaboration tools.
• A bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
