Learning Content Specialist

Design and maintain practical, outcomes-driven learning experiences for Kognitiv Academy’s in-person workshops, courses and multi-week journeys. Translate subject-matter expertise into clear learning objectives, teaching plans, applied exercises and assessments, while coordinating with faculty so that content is relevant, rigorous and ready to deliver.

What you will own

Curriculum design & learning architecture

• Translate programme briefs, target audiences and market needs into learning outcomes, competency maps and modular course structures.

• Create or improve facilitator guides, session plans, slide outlines, learner workbooks, case studies, exercises and assessments.

• Structure appropriate learning journeys across novice, standard, intermediate, advanced and mastery levels.

• Design applied assignments, rubrics and evidence of learner progress rather than relying solely on attendance.

Faculty collaboration & content production

• Interview subject-matter experts and faculty to turn raw material into consistent learning resources.

• Review content for clarity, accuracy, accessibility, originality and practical relevance; obtain expert validation on specialist subjects.

• Create pre-work, post-session activities and optional digital supplements without replacing the Academy’s in-person delivery model.

• Maintain content templates, naming conventions, version control, rights/attribution and a central learning library.

Learning quality & iteration

• Evaluate learner outcomes, assessments, course feedback and facilitator observations.

• Refresh modules as industry practices change; flag outdated examples or claims for expert review.

• Collaborate with Faculty Success and Marketing on accurate learning descriptions and course positioning.

• Support certificate and programme documentation requirements where applicable; verify approval wording with compliance owners.

• What we are looking for 3+ years in instructional design, curriculum development, education content production or corporate learning.

• Strong command of learning objectives, Bloom’s taxonomy, assessment design and adult learning principles.

• Excellent English writing/editing, information structuring and presentation skills.

• Able to collaborate with senior subject-matter experts and challenge content constructively.

• Proficiency in PowerPoint/Slides, Docs, content management systems and modern AI-assisted workflows.

• Business, technology, AI, leadership or professional education experience is preferred; Arabic is a plus.

First 90 days: expected outcomes

• A standard course-production toolkit and reusable content templates.

• Approved teaching packs ready ahead of scheduled delivery.

• A prioritised curriculum review and refresh backlog.

Performance measures

• Content readiness by launch deadline and revision turnaround.

• Learning-objective coverage and assessment quality.

• Learner usefulness ratings and faculty usability feedback.

• Completion of scheduled content reviews and reduction in delivery content defects.
