Join us in this role where you’ll be responsible for managing lease contracts globally and supporting the transaction team when new office lease contracts need to be enrolled in our global portfolio. This role requires strong coordination skills in being the focal point for the Global Lease Management team and our internal stakeholders when managing our lease contracts. Furthermore, the role also calls for strong relationship-building skills, as you’ll also be a liaison between Ørsted, landlords, and other external vendors.

Welcome to Global Real Estate & Workplace Management

You’ll be part of Global Real Estate Management where you, together with your colleagues, will be part of a team of highly skilled real estate professionals working with a global platform. We locate, negotiate, and manage new offices and expansions of offices globally. In this capacity, you’ll work closely with the transaction team managing the lease contracts to ensure that we meet all obligations in a timely manner. As we work within a truly global team located in different countries and offices, we thrive on taking ownership of our individual tasks whilst still managing to work closely together and support each other.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • managing lease contracts, i.e., providing support with seeking out and setting up all commercial matters in the contract, incl. payment deadlines, termination provisions, deposits, insurance, etc.
  • managing the lifecycle of the contracts and associated tasks, from setting up vendors and payments and supporting with flagging important milestones, to liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • maintaining and validating lease contract data in our Lease Management system, and preparing meeting presentations for internal stakeholders based on the data
  • liaising with internal colleagues such as Tactical Procurement, Global Insurance and Funding, to ensure that we consistently meet all lease terms
  • supporting the transaction team in finalising documents with signatures and archiving contracts
  • supporting the team with the portfolio budgeting, timely processing of office rent invoices and other administrative tasks.
  • supporting the Power BI Team in collecting and validating data for the Office leases
  • creating and maintaining Lease Management Standard Operating Procedures, and process presentations

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have knowledge of, and experience with lease contract management, preferably from a global or international company
  • are collaborative, perseverant, bright, efficient, and have good communications skills to support your position in a global organisation
  • have strong reading skills in English, as all lease contracts are in English or translated from native languages to English speak English fluently, as you’ll be working alongside a variety of nationalities within an environment where English is the internal corporate language
  • are proactive and curious, following existing processes whilst being willing to suggest changes when needed, ensuring that we continue to have solid workstreams.
  • are an experienced user of Microsoft Office: especially Word, Excel, Powerpoint; it will also be a plus if you have experience using SAP and DocuSign
  • experience with integrated CAFM systems (Facility / Real estate systems) and data transfers (bulk uploading) etc. would be an added bonus but not a prerequisite.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
