Company Description MantraCare is reshaping healthcare through AI-powered therapy, chronic care, and holistic wellness solutions designed for employers, insurers, and health systems. The organization operates an AI-first, expert-supported ecosystem spanning mental health, diabetes, musculoskeletal care, nutrition, and telehealth. Its global platform delivers end-to-end care, combining automated triage and therapy with escalation to a network of over 51,000 licensed experts when needed. This hybrid approach improves outcomes and engagement while reducing costs for partners by 40–50%, making care more accessible, effective, and sustainable.
Role Description The Legal Advisor will provide day-to-day legal support for MantraCare’s global operations, focusing on healthcare, technology, and employment-related matters. Responsibilities include reviewing and drafting contracts, policies, and terms of use; preparing and maintaining legal documentation; and providing clear, practical legal advice to internal stakeholders. The role also involves identifying and assessing legal risks, advising on labor and employment law issues across relevant jurisdictions, and supporting compliance with applicable regulations and data privacy requirements. This is a part-time, remote role that requires effective collaboration across time zones and departments using digital communication tools.
Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in Law, with the ability to interpret and apply statutes, regulations, and case law in a practical business context.
  • Demonstrated experience in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, policies, and other formal agreements.
  • Ability to analyze and address complex Legal Issues, providing clear, concise, and risk-aware Legal Advice to non-legal stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Labor and Employment Law, preferably with exposure to multi-jurisdiction or international employment matters.
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., law degree; bar admission or equivalent) and experience in corporate, healthtech, or technology-related environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote, part-time setting.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance, data protection, and healthcare or insurance regulations is highly beneficial.
