This is a remote position.
Mamann Sandaluk LLP is a full-service immigration law firm in downtown Toronto. We are currently seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to handle a variety of routine and complex permanent and temporary immigration applications.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, Remote/Hybrid
Salary: Commensurate with experience
To qualify for this role, you must have:
Provide support for
permanent and temporary residence applications
, including
Spousal Sponsorship, Express Entry, Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP), work permits, study permits, Labour Market Impact Assessments (LMIA), and citizenship applications
.
Assist in gathering, reviewing, and organizing supporting documents for submission.
Conduct
basic legal research
related to Canadian immigration policies and procedures.
Maintain and update client files, case management systems, and internal databases.
Draft and format correspondence, legal submissions, and application forms under the direction of lawyers and consultants.
Send
invoices
to clients.
Answer and delegate
telephone and email inquiries
in a professional manner.
Perform other
administrative and legal support duties
as assigned.
2+ years of experience in Canadian immigration processing
Excellent communication skills in English
