This is a hybrid role – mostly remote with one in-person day per week for coordination and team development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support attorneys, case managers, and paralegals with daily litigation and pre-litigation tasks.
  • Draft, review, and format legal documents, correspondence, affidavits, discovery, pleadings, exhibits, and case-related materials.
  • Coordinate court filings, service of process, citations, notices, hearings, mediations, and trial-related deadlines.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, providers, insurance adjusters, courts, opposing counsel, and third parties in English and Spanish.
  • Request, track, review, and organize medical, billing, employment, insurance, and case-related records.
  • Maintain accurate notes, tasks, deadlines, and case updates in CasePeer and other firm systems.
  • Manage emails, calendars, reminders, and scheduling through Outlook and other firm platforms.
  • Handle inbound and outbound client communications through RingCentral and document all activity appropriately.
  • Assist with discovery, document collection, record summaries, demand preparation, reductions, and settlement-related tasks as assigned.
  • Monitor case progress and follow up on outstanding items to ensure matters continue moving forward.
  • Keep electronic files organized, updated, and labeled consistently for easy access by the legal team.
  • Perform administrative and operational tasks as needed to support the Civil and Personal Injury departments.

Requirements

  • Fluent English and Spanish (C1 level or higher)
  • Strong writing and communication skills in both languages
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficient with CasePeer, Outlook, and RingCentral (or similar legal and communication platforms)
  • Professional work ethic and ability to follow procedures accurately
  • Own computer/laptop with reliable internet connection
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, 9 AM–5 PM Dallas time (with seasonal adjustment)
  • Attendance at one in-person day per week

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with U.S. civil litigation or personal injury law
  • Familiarity with e-filing, service coordination, discovery management, and exhibits
  • Experience using a case management system (CasePeer preferred)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Direct company contract
  • Monthly compensation: USD $1,350
  • Monthly performance bonus of up to USD $100 based on results, productivity, and consistency
  • Hybrid work model in Medellín (remote work with one onsite day per month)
  • Opportunities for growth and advancement within a professional, bilingual legal team
  • Ongoing training and development in U.S. legal processes and case management systems
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Dallas, TX time (adjusts automatically for U.S. daylight saving time)
