Rose Harper Law is a bilingual personal injury firm serving clients across New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. We're looking for an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to support our attorneys in managing PI cases from litigation through settlement or trial.
⚠️ Personal Injury litigation experience is required — this is not an entry-level role.
💰 Pay: Depending on Experience (DOE)
What You'll Own
✅ Manage a caseload of personal injury matters through litigation, settlement, or trial
✅ Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and correspondence
✅ Organize exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders for trial preparation
✅ Coordinate and prepare clients and witnesses for depositions, mediations, and trials
✅ Organize, review, and summarize medical records, police reports, and case documents
✅ Prepare discovery responses and document production
✅ Maintain case management systems and ensure all deadlines are calendared and met
✅ Create and maintain detailed case chronologies and damage summaries
✅ Track case deadlines, statutes of limitations, and court appearances
✅ Coordinate with experts, investigators, and court reporters
✅ Communicate regularly with clients on case status and document requests
📋 What We're Looking For
- Required: Personal Injury litigation experience — hands-on, not just general legal support
- Bachelor´s Degree in Law or similar
- Knowledge of civil litigation procedures (NY, NJ, and/or PA experience a strong plus)
- Proficiency in case management software and e-filing systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple active cases independently
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to analyze medical records a plus
💻 Tech Requirements
- Updated computer (Windows or Mac) — minimum Intel i5 / equivalent processor or newer
- 8GB RAM minimum (16GB preferred)
- Stable internet connection — 25 Mbps minimum
- Dedicated, quiet workspace
- Headset with microphone for calls
