Company Description Thinkwider Co., Ltd. specializes in AI integration, building innovative tools for secure, offline data extraction, redaction and transformation from formats such as PDF, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. We are building DocAnax, a standalone document intelligence tool for extracting, protecting, transforming, and converting documents.
DocAnax works locally with PDF, Microsoft Office documents, and images. It combines deterministic document extraction, OCR, PII detection, rule-based redaction and transformation, structured data extraction, and an AI bridge. All without requiring documents to be uploaded to a third-party service.
Thinkwider’s document-processing and automation engine is designed for enterprises that require high-accuracy extraction, workflow automation, and seamless system integration. All solutions are built with privacy at the core, ensuring that data never leaves the user’s device and supporting hybrid R + AI workflows for superior RAG performance. Interested professionals can learn more through the company’s website and follow Thinkwider on LinkedIn.
Role Description The Legal Co-Founder will play a key role in shaping Thinkwider’s legal, compliance, and business strategy in the AI and enterprise software space. This is a remote, contract role focused on providing ongoing legal guidance on commercial agreements, partnerships, data privacy, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and reviewing contracts, advising on risk and liability, supporting go-to-market and licensing models, and helping design legally sound product and data-handling frameworks. The Legal Co-Founder will collaborate closely with the founding team on fundraising, corporate governance, international expansion, and alignment of legal structures with business objectives. This role also involves contributing to strategic negotiations with clients, resellers, and technology partners, and establishing best practices and policies for a privacy-first, offline AI product portfolio.
